Terms of Service

TrueSTB is a media player application for Android TV. It lets you connect to IPTV services you already have access to — a Stalker/Ministra portal, an Xtream Codes account, an M3U/XMLTV playlist, or a provider server code — and play that content back with a clean, TV-native interface.

TrueSTB does not supply, host, sell, or endorse any streaming content, channel lists, or media files. You are solely responsible for the legality of any service or credentials you connect through the app, and for having the right to access whatever content that service provides.

Subject to these Terms, TrueSTB grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on supported devices for your personal, lawful use. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app, or remove or obscure any proprietary notices, except where a law that can't be waived says otherwise.

Using TrueSTB requires a device registration and, for the paid tier, a TrueSTB account. On first launch, the app registers your device and starts a 7-day free trial automatically — no account or payment required to try it.

To activate a paid license, you create a TrueSTB account on the website and enter the pairing code shown on your TV. This links your device to your account and unlocks continued access after the trial ends.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away (support@truestb.[tld]) if you suspect unauthorized access.

Any portal, playlist, or provider you connect through TrueSTB is chosen and controlled by you, not us. We don't review, host, or have visibility into the content those services provide. Their availability, legality, quality, and uptime are entirely outside our control and responsibility. You must have the legal right to access and use any service or content you configure inside the app — using TrueSTB to access unlicensed or unauthorized content is a violation of these Terms and, separately, may violate the law in your location.

You agree not to use TrueSTB to: access or distribute content you're not authorized to access; circumvent, disable, or interfere with license activation, device pairing, or account security; reverse-engineer or tamper with the app's protection mechanisms; use automated tools to scrape, abuse, or overload our backend; or engage in fraud, chargebacks, or other abuse of the billing system. We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of this section.

Each device gets one 7-day free trial. No payment method is required to start a trial. After the trial ends, continued access requires an active paid license.

Paid licenses renew automatically for successive billing periods unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account; a cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

Purchases are not refundable. The 7-day free trial exists precisely so that you can confirm the app works on your device, with your own service, before paying anything — we ask that you use it. Once a purchase has been made, we do not offer refunds.

If you believe your circumstances warrant an exception, write to [email protected] and we will review the request.

If a payment fails, is disputed, or is charged back, we may suspend or deactivate the associated license and device.

We may suspend or terminate your access to TrueSTB — the app, your account, or a specific device license — if you violate these Terms, we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, or we're required to by law. You may stop using the app at any time; this doesn't automatically cancel an active recurring subscription, which must be canceled through your account before its next renewal date to stop future charges.

TrueSTB, its logo, and the app itself are the property of KIG ELECTRONICS INC. and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of that intellectual property to you — you get the limited license in Section 2, and nothing more.

TrueSTB is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, or the availability, legality, or quality of any third-party portal or content source you configure. Because we don't provide that underlying service, we're not responsible for it.

To the fullest extent the law allows, KIG ELECTRONICS INC. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of TrueSTB or any third-party service you connect through it. Where the law doesn't allow some or all of this limitation, our liability is limited to the maximum extent the law does allow.

You agree to indemnify and hold KIG ELECTRONICS INC. harmless from any claim, loss, or damage — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your misuse of TrueSTB, your violation of these Terms, or your use of any third-party content or service through the app that you weren't authorized to access.

You must be 18 or older to create a TrueSTB account. If you're using a device under the supervision of a parent or guardian who is 18 or older and who has agreed to these Terms on your behalf, that's fine — but the account holder must meet the age requirement.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the revised version here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use TrueSTB after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
